Behavior:
In some instances you may want to create a file cabinet using the XML of an older version of DocuWare.
Starting in DocuWare version 6.8 we have adopted predefined profiles and it prevents us from using the XML from an older version.
Solution:
Open your XML file in XML marker (similar XML Editor) and remove the dialogs node.
NOTE:
If using Index Profiles you need to remove the FCProfiles node.
Save your changes.
After that, you can use your XML in the wizard when you arrive at the File Cabinet Creation – Index Field Definition, Select Structure (XML) dialog. Simply navigate to your XML location.
Fields will be transferred.
