After updating the DocuWare software, or rebooting the server one or more DocuWare services will not start. This is usually evident from the Service Control applet, where the failed service appears with a yellow circle.
Where can I find information about the error?
- Open the Windows system event viewer and inspect the entries for the service that will not start.
- Take a look in the logfiles. You can find them in following directory on the server by default: C:\ProgramData\DocuWare\Logs
If the problem or the error message is not clear, ensure that this information is provided to Support when you open a Support Request to resolve the problem.
