Behavior:
Email notifications are not being sent out.
The SMTP connection in the DocuWare Administration is accessible.
In the Notification server log you will find the following error:
"[SmtpEmailSender] Unable to send mail as "USERNAME" <USERNAME@Test.com>: System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure."
Solution:
The error message is thrown from the SMTP server, because of an invaild certificate.
To solve the behavior please check on one side if the used certificate of the SMTP server is still vaild and on the other side which server name was entered in the DocuWare Administraion for the SMTP server.
Because the email notification will only work if the entered servername (in the DocuWare Administration) is the same servername as used in the certificate:
