  • Hello Steve,

    Hello Steve,

this is the expected behaviour. The most common use-case is that every user has his own basket. DocuWare changed this behaviour to the one you would like in 6.11 or 6.12, but due to a large backlash from the community changed it back to what you see right now in 7.0.

Currently, I am not aware of any way to disable this, but I also never actively searched for it. Maybe some DocuWare employee can help here.

  • Hello "DocuWeird",

    Hello "DocuWeird",

is the specified Index Field "N1" a text field or a numeric field? If it is a text field, the current behaviour would be correct.

To achieve what you want, you should create a global Variable (Numeric), then in the first "assign data" step, convert the value from the text index field to a numeric value and store it in the global variable. To accomplish this, use an arithmetic expression, for example: CInt(DW_N1)

In the condition, you may then use the GV instead of the index field. Your desired logic should work then.

    Hope this helps.

  • Hello Carlos,

    Hello Carlos,

this is a well-known issue. To get Windows Login (NTLM) working again, you need to do some additional client-side work. If needed, the following settings can also be pushed via GPO.

For Firefox, follow this FAQ: https://faq.docuware.com/en-us/knowledgebase/article/KBA-35976

For Internet Explorer / Edge / Chrome:

    1. Open up Internet Explorer
    2. Click the little cog wheel in the top right corner, then select "Internet Options"
    3. On Tab "Security", select the "Local intranet"-Zone
    4. Click "Sites", and in the new window, click "Advanced"
    5. Add all the URLs which your DocuWare server uses here:

    Example: http://docuware/ and http://docuware.sgdabog.edu.co/

After this, restart all the browsers and you should be good to go.

  • Hello Michael,

    Hello Michael,

I assume this is V7.0. In that case, every deleted document should show up in the new logging module in the configuration. Open up configuration, then go to "Protokollierungen" ("Protocols"). You should be able to select the File Cabinet there and see every change made to every document in this file cabinet, including deletions.

In older versions, this might be logged in the old log files on disk. See the logging configuration in the Desktop Administration for that.

  • Hello Kjetil,

    Hello Kjetil,

the RO environment is accessed via a specific read-only URL, for example: https://<docuware-server>.<my.domain>/DocuWare/PlatformRO/WebClient/ instead of https://<docuware-server>.<my.domain>/DocuWare/Platform/WebClient/

There is no specific license you need to assign to a user, just log in with the above URL.

  • Hi Casey,

    Hi Casey,

on DW 7 on premises, the store via platform setting seems to be default. I have seen it on several Clients now. For Cloud, I would guess it's the same, but I haven't seen it yet.

  • Sehr geehrter DocuWare Kunde,

    Sehr geehrter DocuWare Kunde,
