• RE: Total count of documents in archive

There is no maximum anymore with version 7 and above. The Results will always return every document found in the search. So, if your search returns 200,000 hits then that will be the number shown at the foot of the page, and you can scroll through the 2000 pages of results if you have time!
This is why I said that if you do a search with no parameters then every row in the database will be returned giving you the number of documents in the file cabinet.

  • RE: Total count of documents in archive

With DocuWare 7.x you can simply do a global search in the web client - that is no search criteria, just bring up a search dialog and hit Search. The search will return all rows in the database.
The number is at the bottom right hand side of the Result list.

    Example for the first page:
    1-100 of 156,999

This works for both On-Premise and Cloud.

  • RE: Text Recognition in v7.1

    Steve,
No change - follow the same directions. I doubt you will find a tweak to fix that problem. Depends a lot on the font. OCR does a great job but if you encounter such an issue rarely can the template be tweaked to resolve it. It is simply life with OCR. You would be better off testing various fonts.
I assume that you are dealing with scanned documents?
If so you are dealing with nothing more than a picture consisting of black and white dots. Consider resolution.

  • RE: updating 6.9 V2 to 7.1 then moving to new server.

    1. Standard Intellix data resides in the cloud. It is unaffected by local server activities.
    2. Yes.
    3. That is fine. Do not use mapped drives. Use UNC paths ensuring that the DocuWare Service user has full access.

  • RE: DW4 documents in DW7.1

    Deann,
Given that the upgrade has taken place and the structure required to support DocuWare 5 documents has been created in the DWDATA database, and the references in the database to the DW4 documents exist, I would expect that the 7.2 upgrade will expose the DocuWare 4 documents and make them viewable.
We may need to ensure that the DW 4 logical disks are correctly registered in the DocuWare Administration program. Apart from that you should be good to go.

  • RE: Slow DocuWare Printing Processing

All documents have the first 25 and the last 25 pages of the document OCR'd locally for Cloud installations. This parameter cannot be changed for Cloud installations.
    Are these large documents?

  • RE: SQL connection for select list

    Steve,
Try creating and SQL index on the fields require for the view. You must filter, and filter quite heavily to enure that only the data required is returned.
How many rows in the view?

  • RE: Any way to include keyword field or table field in CSV Export?

    John,
The DocuWare "Data Export Tool" can access keyword data and include it in the csv file. The product is in the Price List.

  • RE: Temp\Platform\Chunks Folder is filling HD.

    Michael,
Look for anti-virus software monitoring that folder. Something is stopping DocuWare from cleaning it up. You can delete the contents in the meantime.
