    How did you remove 1000 documents? Did you run a deletion workflow?

    They should be backwards compatible, but I would not update them "just because". Stay with the version that belongs with your DocuWare version.

    You can run a Deletion Workflow. This will allow you to delete documents based on a date range. Do you really want to do this? Can you not add extra disk space? Once deleted those documents are gone forever.

  • Filtered Profiles.

    I have tested this as per your set up and the filtering works as it should. The problem you have is that both users exist in another search profile. Possibly in a Group or Role. Review those settings so the users do not exist in another Search profile allowing them access to all the documents. Keep in mind that rights are "additive" so the profile with the most rights will be used.

    This is pretty well the scenario with our described hybrid system. Usually it is simply the other way round. Work On-Premise, archive to Cloud. But either way works. 9000 for Authentication, 80 and 443 communication. No drawbacks. I like the Export delete concept over synchronization. It will keep the Cloud disk usage down, hence the costs.

  • DocuWare backups

    DocuWare does not perform any backup of data. The only backup withing DocuWare is a dump of the DocuWare System Settings - Users/Groups/File Cabinet schemas etc.
    The customer data - documents - must be backed up via MySQL tools as you indicate, and the documents in the file system maust be backed up by whatever technologies they wish to use for backing up file systems.

    All functions of DocuWare are provided in with DocuWare Online. Unfortunately the Tasks tab cannot be removed. You also cannot remove the send request button. Customizing CSS is only available for On-Premise systems.

    If you have tested different data from different tables and are getting the same result - that is, spaces being added - then it sounds like a bug.
    Please open a service request so we can investigate and report it.
