    The anchor for Smart Connect is similar to the anchors in the scanner, printer and import configuration. You would set an anchor based on a static text on the document. I would also recommend using the OCRService technology when taking the screenshot for the configuration.

    Hello Kim,

    There are two places to check why this error occurs. 
    1. If you go into %programdata%>DocuWare>serverconfig>check the machine config and make sure it is the correct address for localwebservices, you can find the correct DocuWare URL inside the administration tool>web connections>http root directory.
    2. The system storage path inside the administration tool(system level)>general, make sure the system storage path is accessible. 
  • Docuware Scan App Stops Working after a few hours

    Hello Richard,

    After the few hours, does the machine get woken up from sleep mode? Please verify the DocuWare desktop service is set to Automatic(Delayed Start)

    You can do this by going to Start>Services> DocuWare Desktop Service>right click propteries>there should be a startup type with this option after selecting the dropdown arrow. Please let me know.

    Hello Hameed,

    Please browse to the prerequisites folder on the DocuWare server, installation files>DocuWare and Modules> client setup>prerequisites and copy the prerequisites folder to that pc and run them as an administrator.
