Hello,

Microsoft Edge has been around for a bit now, and we have a customer migrating to Windows 10, which by default uses Edge. Well at least users are fooled and don't know they are using Edge.

This customer is trying to use Desktop Apps, and that is the thing that doesn't connect.

Thoughts when Edge might be supported?

This link says it is supported. I question that. http://blog.docuware.com/product-news/docuware-with-microsoft-edge

Desktop Apps do not rely on a specific browser in order to connect.

In this screen cap I am using Edge, and my Connection for Desktop Apps is active. You need to give a bit more info on what errors are being generated when trying to connect the  app.

I understand what they are saying. When you first install desktop apps and try to choose "Connect Desktop Apps" It will pop up and ask you to install desktop apps like it isn't there. If you open IE, Chrome, FireFox and connect it successfully connects. Once you have connected Edge works mostly. Every once in a while you will get the same message when trying to send and email out of the web client or print. I have never gotten edge to successfully connect desktop apps. So, I don't see it as being fully compatible if you have to use another browser to connect the apps.

The problem is either the certificate or the local loopback adapter. See this FAQ article.
