With DocuWare 7, the administrator no longer has access to the new document trays created automatically when you add a new user. Is this by design? I am pretty this was not the case with the older versions.

Thanks

Savio,
I am sure this is by design.

Hi Phil

Thanks for getting back to me.

If you want to setup intelligent indexing for these newly created document trays, how would you go about doing that?

Thanks

Savio

Savio,
From DocuWare 6.11 onward, Intelligent Indexing is defined against a file Cabinet Store Dialog, not a Tray. Therefore, you define Intellix accordingly, and then instruct the user to attach their tray to the dialog you specify. While doing that they can also add the DocuWare administrator to the tray if required. This is a security measure.

Hi Savio,

we are aware of that and with the next version the user who creates a user will get automatically access to the created tray as administrator.

Good to hear, Tobias.  What about trays that are automatically created by a user synchronization workflow? Will the administrator automatically have access to those in the next version as well?

Thanks Tobias.

Yes, this also works for user synchronization.
