A user placed a PDF file in a monitored folder for import and received an error about a password being required for the PDF file. Has anyone seen this before? She was eventually able to store the document so I'm wondering if this is a bogus message and an adjustment or fix needs to be made.

I've attached a shot of the message.

Any clues appreciated.

Hi Steve,

this happens, if DocuWare cannot read the document as it is password protected. So anything like read out index values, fulltext search and even viewing the file is normally not possible with password protected files. For sure, you can store these files in DocuWare, but for viewing the file you have to download it and open it in an application which can handle password protected PDF files.
In most cases it is better to remove the password protection before storing the file in DocuWare.
