Behavior:
Up to now, large image files (PNG, JPG, …) needed a long time to load in viewer of Windows Client, because a lot of memory had to be allocated and the image was loaded in uncompressed format. In order to improve this, the viewer has been optimized to compress all images that have an uncompressed size larger than 16 MB.

This results now in the problem that TIFFMAKER and RECOGNITION also get compressed files and the size of the letterhead/form does not fit the TIFFMAKER document and the fields of the RECOGNITION template are no longer at the same location.

Solution:
If the actual compression should not be applied, change the following registry entry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\DocuWare\DocuWare\DACS\500\DACSDLL4\MaxImageSizeInMB

This DWWORD is 16MB by default – this means if the key does not exist 16MB are used.
All pictures that have an uncompressed size larger than 16 MB will be compressed in order to speed up the display, but TIFFMAKER AND RECOGNITION will also get this compressed version.

As a result people using RECOGNITION or TIFFMAKER with large files, need to set this value to something like 256 or higher. So they will still have the problem that the images take a long time to load, but TIFFMAKER and RECOGNITION work again.
