What are the conditions for independent file cabinet synchronization?
Answer:
Version independent synchronization is only working between 5.1c systems and higher versions.
- ATTENTION: Only file cabinet synchronizations between DocuWare installations which differ by a maximum of 1 version are supported (such as 5.1cSP2 -->6.0 or 6.1 -->6.5 ). We do not provide support if you should have issues when synchronizing systems with bigger versions differences.
- Workflow (Server) must run on the system where the master file cabinet is located.
- Only existing workflows continue running. New workflows or changes of workflows that synchronize between different DocuWare versions cannot be done. This means that configuration of file cabinets synchronization workflows is only possible if master and satellite have same DocuWare version.
