DocuWare Printer shows “error” in status column in Printers and Devices (Windows).

Check that the driver is correctly installed. 
To do so, please reinstall the Docuware Printer driver by running program DocuWare.Printer.Setup.exe that can be found in the DocuWare Desktop path (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\DocuWare\Desktop).
Then check that the port used by the printer is not currently in use by another printer. By default, the port used is LPT1.
Remove the other printer from LPT1 or assign the DocuWare Printer to LPT2 for example.
