How does the filtered select list work?
Answer:
The filtered select list is always created from the standard select list. It is not possible to filter an external select list.
To have entries displayed even if only an external select list is assigned, all entries of the external select list are displayed for filtering.
Only an external select list is assigned in the dialog:
- without filtering: All entries of the external select list are displayed.
- with filtering: No standard select list is available to create the filtered select list. All entries of the external select list are displayed.
Only the standard select list is assigned in the dialog:
- without filtering: All entries in the file cabinet are displayed.
- with filtering: The filtered select list is created from the default select list.
External select list & standard select list are assigned in the dialog:
- without filtering: All entries in the file cabinet + all entries from the external select list are displayed.
- with filtering: The filtered select list is created from the default select list + All entries from the external select list are displayed.
