Behavior:
"Error 27506. Error executing SQL script AddServiceUserToFortisSystem.sql. Line 9. User does not have permission to perform this action (15247)" during installation of FortisBlue

Solution:
Please follow these steps,

  1. Open SQL Management Studio
  2. In Security, go to Login and go to properties for the Fortisblue Owner that you created prior to the install
  3. In Roles, in addition to DBCreator, give this user the Sysadmin role as well
