Behavior:
Under certain circumstances it can happen that the splitting of documents is producing the following error message:

The Seperation of the input document was aborted. DocumentContent page count differs from document page count. ---> System.ArgumentException: DocumentContent page count differs from document page count.

Solution:
To resolve this behavior, please proceed as follows: 

  1. Make a backup of the file "C:\Program Files (x86)\DocuWare\Desktop\DesktopOcr.settings"
  2. Open it and search for the parameterMaxCount="-1"
  3. Change its value to the actual number of CPU cores
  4. Save the changes
  5. Restart the service DocuWare Desktop Service

Now the import should be working correctly again.
Please check also the system requirements for the installed DocuWare version.
