Why are my freehand stamps not visible in the web client?

Scenario:
A freehand stamp is created in the Administration tool, but users are not seeing it in the available stamps list when they view a document in the web client. This occurs even if they are using a tablet PC with a touchscreen.

Behavior:
Freehand stamps were removed from DocuWare Web Client in version 6.8 as part of product re-design. However, since the Windows Client was still available in 6.8, the ability to create that stamp type remained as part of DocuWare Administration.

Solution:
As of DocuWare 6.10, the option to create freehand stamps will no longer appear in the Administration Tool. As an alternative, you should have your users scan their signature as a PNG file and use it to create a bitmap stamp. A walkthrough of this process is available at this link.
