Behavior:
After storing multimedia files in DocuWare (for example video files or music files), you try to view them in the Web Viewer and get an error, that the file cannot be rendered, or just a blank page.
Solution:
DocuWare renders many different document file types for viewing. It does not stream multimedia files. For these types of files, you must download them to the local machine in order to view them.
The simplest method is to select "Edit" from the context menu of the result list. This will automatically download the file and open it in the default application for the file type.
