Solution:
To use special characters in DWControl, such as ñ or ü, we must edit the following settings within the *.dwcontrol file:
- Convert the Encoding on the Document to UTF- 8. For example, this conversion can be done using Notepad++ but by navigating to the Encoding tab and selecting the option Convert to UTF-8
