How can I configure DocuWare Lists with a validation service?
 
Solution:
Please refer to the following steps to configure your validation service with DocuWare Lists;
 
1. Navigate to the File Cabinets plugin located on the configurations page and open the file cabinet that contains the list you wish to enable a validation service in.


 
2.  Go to the Dialogs tab and select the Lists section, then open the desired list.

 
3. Select the "Index Dialog" section, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "More options"
4. From here, use the dropdown to select the Web Service validation you wish to configure with the list. Once you have selected your Web Service, click on "Test connection" to ensure the Web Service is available. If the service is available, you will receive a "Service is available" banner at the top-right of the web page. Once completed, save your changes, refresh the Web Client, and your validation service is now configured with your List and is ready for use.
