Question:
When utilizing the multi-file cabinet search in DocuWare, it returns only 1,000 results from the file cabinets, which have more than 1,000 documents that match my search criteria.

Answer:
Commencing in DocuWare 7.3, a maximum of 1,000 results will be returned from a single file cabinet when performing a multi-file cabinet search. Although the maximum number of results returned is set at 1,000 for a single file cabinet, this value can be modified. Please refer to the following guide on how this value can be modified;

  1.  Navigate to C:\Program Files\DocuWare\Web\Platform\bin and open the file DocuWare.Platform.Web.dll.settings.
    Note: Please make a copy of the DocuWare.Platform.Web.dll.settings file for backup purposes.

  2.  Find the first <PlatformSettings> tag and locate MultipleFcSearchLimit within the settings file.

  3.  The MultipleFcSearchLimit value is 1,000 by default. You can increase this value to the maximum amount of results by modifying the 1,000 default limit to your desired limit.

  4.  Save the file, refresh the browser, and your multi-file cabinet searches will now return your desired amount of results.
