Can I run the DocuWare Desktop Service using a Windows user who does not have admin rights?
Answer:
By product design, the Windows user running the Desktop Service must have Local Administrator rights or Domain Administrator rights.
For Cloud organizations utilizing the DocuWare Desktop Apps, the DocuWare Client Setup must be run and installed on workstations that meet the system requirements. Please visit the DocuWare Knowledge Center for the system requirements for your DocuWare version.
