Question:
Can I manually delete temporary file from storageRobot?
Answer:
storageRobot stores files in the user's Temp directory while it is working. These files are usually deleted after use, but in some cases they may remain there. If it does happen that not all files are removed, they can be deleted manually.
The temporary user directory is typically located under <username>\AppData\Local\Temp. The easiest way to access it is to enter %temp% in the Explorer window. The files are located in the storageRobot subdirectory.
To avoid interfering with running processes, existing tasks in the Windows Task Planner should be disabled and the observer service stopped. Please wait until any running storageRobot processes have been terminated. The files and subdirectories can then be safely deleted without any risk of data loss.
