How can I sync/transfer documents between DocuWare cloud systems?

Answer:
By product design, it is not possible to transfer documents directly from one cloud system to another. We can still accomplish this with an on-premise system used as a “middle man”.

On the on-premise system, the documents must first be sync'ed/transferred onto the on-premise system:

  1. Create a file cabinet with an XML export of the file cabinet from the cloud system.

  2. Create a transfer or sync on the on-premise system using the cloud system as the source and on-premise as the target.

  3. Run the transfer or sync job.

  4. Once complete, you need to create another transfer or sync, this time with the on-premise as the source and the second cloud system as the target.
     

Starting in DocuWare 7.14, the sync module will be available for Cloud to Cloud systems ONLY.
