Hi,

We are trying to configure an Autoindex process for documents that will have to retrieve data from multiple tables from an external database.

I have noticed, however, that an Autoindex instance can only be configured with 1 database connection that points to a single database table.

What is the best practice if you need to retrieve data from multiple tables? Should we assign multiple Autoindex processes to a document?

Thanks!

Usually, if you need data from multiple tables and the query is complex, you create a View in the database, and point AIX at the view.

I get it. Okay we'll try that approach. Thank you Phil!
