Behavior:
On Windows Vista and on Windows 7, if you want to install additional ISIS scanner drivers manually from the DVD as a ‘normal’ user (not an administrator), you cannot do this from the start Dialog.

Solution:
Instead you must open Explorer and run the DWAddISISDriver.exe file in the ISIS Drivers directory directly from the DVD by right-clicking on the file and selecting the Open as Administrator menu command.
