Eye Icon in Store Dialo of Index Field using a Multi-Column Select List becomes unavailable

When configuring the Index Field in the Store Dialog using a Multi-Column Select List, the eye icon used to hide fields becomes unavailable. Is this expected behavior, or is there a way to fix it?
