I know in version 6.12 and prior that the DocuWare Printer has always been defaulted to A4 (European) size by default when the Despkop App is installed.  This has always been an issue for me because the page is taller and narrower than the actual LETTER size page.  I know there has been a Registry hack to overcome this but is there a better way to have an end user (WebClient) set this for themselves so that their pages will be produced in LETTER size by default?

Hello Craig,

IMHO, a registry hack is a fairly simple and straightforward solution. If installing Desktop Apps manually, you can just place the exported registry key somewhere and tell the desktop techs to install that one after the Desktop Apps.

Even better way: Apply the registry setting via GPO to all workstations using Desktop Apps.

Did you know that you can even deploy DocuWare Desktop Apps via GPO?
