Create Data Record in Cabinet using API

Hi there,<br> <br> From DocuWare interface in Document Tray, we could create a data record in cabinet, e.g. create an entry of Index Field values without any document.<br> <br> Is there any API method in DocuWare that performs the same operation?<br> <br> Thank you.
