Automatically send a notification, reminder every 48hrs -1516654810

In Notifications, is there a way to send a reminder notification every 48 hours after the first notification is sent.  I can create a workflow with the same criteria as the notification, and run that workflow every 48 hours, making it "modify" some value to initiate the notification again (notification rerun on modification).  This is a tedious workaround. Is there an easier way?

There is no solution for what you wish to do. Notifications are triggered on an event, not on a cycle. If a workflow is not suitable then I would suggest a customized SDK program to do what you require.
