DW v7 with AD Sync - SSO?-1533041962

Curious now that v7 has an app to synch AD with the Cloud does single sign on work for cloud users?

SSO for Cloud is in the pipeline. The first step was an AD sync for Cloud. Now that it is done, the next step is the SSO. Stay tuned.

Hi Phil,

So currently the user sync feature synchronizes users and groups, but the login is Docuware (application login) and passwords are not linked--Passwords for users either have to be set or the user has to use the forgot password?

SSO is not available yet so the first time the user tries to log in to DocuWare they should be prompted to set a password.

Any updates? I thought I mighta heard that 7.1 supports SSO for a cloud system at DocuWorld but maybe I'm wrong (or dreaming).

No updates. SSO for the Cloud is not yet available, and I do not know when it will be.

I was just checking in to see if SSO is available in DocuWare 7.2? SSO is pretty standard with most systems now and DocuWare is not there yet.

SSO to in a Organizations cloud set up is simple and only requires AD.

SSO to another organizations (DW Cloud) usually requires Federated Services for Active Directory.  Not something that a lot of small companies would have enabled.  

Add to that some DW under the covers structure that would make it difficult and we are best to wait for a stable and working solution.
