Which DW version ? Looks like you are running V7, but is it 7.1 ?
As far as I know document locking mechanism as been changed between 7 and 7.1
Document should not be locked anymore in WF.

Thanks for your post, but it's not going to help.

Doing so,  one just loses all the benefits of the synchronize process (not mentioning the need to twice the storage capacity)

Development using DW SDK will be needed to do the job.

Hope that - one day - DW will improve the sync process to handle versioning

I do not know an easier way as DW SDK/API.
So yes, we did the integration using both DW API and Univesign API, to get a fully integrated solution.

Depends what kind of digital signature you want and from which devices

If you want to use phone, tablets, PC and legal proof signature you need an external services from a certified authority such as Universign (that's the service we mainly use)

What I do is to set

GV_EmailContact1; GV_EmailContact2; GV_EmailContact3....

in the To field of the email task

Each WF variable is set with one email address.

I did that on a Windows Server 2016

As usual,  not an easy task, Intellix is not "plug and play" module.

I do not know about the support. The Intelliw current version is around 4 years old

Should be a new one someday, hopefully in 2019.

Depends what kind of signature you want but whatever your choice you will need some piece of code as a webservice

We do that either with an external platform such as Universign or by using a certificate stored locally
