Using Workflow Manager that triggers a workflow when the orginal document is stored, you can have it call a Web Service that will use the Platform SDK to create the data record in the other cabinet.

I don't see another way off-hand. If you need to be specific and just exclude one document type, then yes you will need a list for each type.

DocuWare does not provide any image processing such as you require. You would need to process them outside of DocuWare before storage.

Dates and numeric values for searches in Dialogs are always based on a range that is inclusive. So the start date and the end date of the range will include both dates and all dates in between.

There is no automatic function in DocuWare to detect documents that have the same index information. Even with the same index information it is not neccessarily going to be true the the documents themseleves are identical. This will need to be a manual task carried out by a user.

That starts to make sense. You now have 2 options. The source change or my suggestion to print it to PDF again. One thing I did not mention was in the print options in Phantoms PDF creator, I did not elect to reprint the PDF as an image so I really am not sure how these PDF engines work.

Without knowing more, if the file was exported from Illustrator as a PDF and then re-printed to a PDF printer then that is the root problem and cannot be resolved. The PDF should be imported to DocuWare without further processing after exporting from the source.
