Is there any way to query DW to see if import jobs are running in a similar way to seeing if a service is running via PowerShell?

  • Default view for all users to "Open DocuWare Viewer with index dialog in new window"

Fri, 14 Dec 2018 21:33:12 GMT – Default view for all users to "Open DocuWare Viewer with index dialog in new window"-1544826792

    Hello Support,

Because stamps cannot use the multi-column select lists, my customer wants to have the default viewer for all users as "Open DocuWare Viewer with index dialog in new window"  mode so we can use the cascading values of three fields in the info dialog.

I see that value in question resides in the .xml of dwsystem.DWUserSettings in the settings field.  I can write the update query to change the value from  WebClientLayout Mode="AllInOne"  to   WebClientLayout Mode="StoreView"

My problem is that the individual row for each user is not created until the user logs into DW.  Is there any way to pre-create the dwusersettings row for each user at the time of user creation?

  • move file cabinet tables to new database

Mon, 20 Aug 2018 19:43:05 GMT – move file cabinet tables to new database-1534801385

I am wanting to move a few file cabinets from one data connection to another in 6.12.  I've created the new data connection, copied the appropriate tables, but I don't see where can I change the data connection?

  • SQL query to get folder values in fortis

Thu, 15 Mar 2018 22:17:58 GMT – SQL query to get folder values in fortis

I am doing a migration from Fortis to DocuWare without the tool.  I need to capture the folder values from the FTBContainer tables and possibly import them as index entries in DocuWare.  I have 30+ databases with multiple doctypes in each database.  I guess what i'm looking for is the most efficient way to query each database that will show all folder values in columns associated with the F_documentID that describe the heirarchy  (top level, level1, level2, level3, etc....) of the folders as well as the index values.

See poorly written query attached in screenshot.

    thanks!
