Behavior:
When printing to the TIFFMAKER printer, the error “Invalid password and/or user ID” appears.
Solution:
This error is caused by a recent security update released by Microsoft for the .NET platform. To correct this problem, the .NET update needs to be removed.
- Open Control Panel.
- Go to Programs and Features.
- From the column on the left, choose “View Installed Updates”.
- Remove the offending update.
- Reboot the machine.
- Repeat this process for all machines where TIFFMAKER is installed.
