Behavior:
When printing to the TIFFMAKER printer, the error “Invalid password and/or user ID” appears.

Solution:
This error is caused by a recent security update released by Microsoft for the .NET platform. To correct this problem, the .NET update needs to be removed.

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Go to Programs and Features.
  3. From the column on the left, choose “View Installed Updates”.
  4. Remove the offending update.
  5. Reboot the machine.
  6. Repeat this process for all machines where TIFFMAKER is installed.
