Question:
How can you predefine the print quality for color printing?
Answer:
Normally when you print in color from the Viewer, the printer uses its default resolution. If you need a different resolution, you can specify another dpi value via an entry in the registry. Color printing will then be printed with this dpi value. If in the registry you define a dpi value that is not supported by the printer, the printer will print using the nearest available dpi value.
To predefine a dpi value, add the following entry to the registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DocuWare\DocuWare\DACS\500:
ColorImagesPrintDPI of type DWORD.
Enter the dpi value you want to use as the value. If this entry is not available or the value is null, the printer’s default resolution is used.
For DocuWare Request add the above registry entry under:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DocuWare\DocuWare REQUEST\DACS\500.
