Behavior:
Content Server was stoppend and should be restarted. But the service is not starting successfully and stays at status "starting". This behavior is not occuring after server reboot.
In Windows Eventlog (Application) you can find following information:
Exception Type: DocuWare.Communication.AuthenticationServer.Exceptions.DWAuthenticateException
ExceptionType: AS_ERR_NO_LICENSE_LEFT Message: All DocuWare Client licenses are already in use. There is no free licenses left for server ContentServer XYZ 1.
TranslatedMessage: All DocuWare Client licenses are already in use. There is no free licenses left for server ContentServer XYZ 1.
Solution:
Probably some sub processes of Content Server are still started which pevent the Content Server starting successfully. Please check in Windows Task Manager if there are still processes running named DocuWare.Imaging.Worker.exe. or NuanceLS.exe. Those have to be stopped. Content Server should start successfully then.
