I have a task which is on a Wait Event and I would like to continue past this event, how can this be done? 

Answer: 
In order to continue past a Wait Event, open the Workflow Designer then complete the following, 
  • From the Overview window, single click on the workflow whose task you want to continue out of the Wait Event. 
  • Once selected, you'll see a section named "Waiting instances" on the bottom. Click-on this to display all instances that are in a Wait Event. 
  • Locate the task, right-click, then choose the option, "Continue"
