Which plugins are available in the DocuWare Web Client under Configurations?
 
Answer:
To enhance DocuWare's interface and user experience, some DocuWare functions have shifted from the DocuWare Administration application to the DocuWare Web Client's Configurations page. Please refer to the below list of new and existing plug-ins that have been added under the Configurations page;

Changes from DocuWare 6.12 to 7.0:

  • The plugin "Audit Reports" was added
  • The plugin “Document Processing” was added to replace “Import Configurations” and “Printer"
  • The plugin “Connect to Outlook” was changed to “Outlook email"
  • The plugin "Connect to Mail” was changed to "General email"
  • The plugin “Autoindex Monitoring” was changed to “Autoindex”. Autoindex was removed from DocuWare Administration and moved to the “Autoindex” plugin
  • The plugin “Transfer” was added. “Export workflow” configuration was moved from DocuWare Administration to Configurations in the Web Client and renamed to “Transfer"
  • The administration of File Cabinets was moved completely to Configurations in the “File Cabinets” plugin. However, disk management remains in DocuWare Administration
  • Select lists were moved from DocuWare Administration to the “Indexing Assistance” plug-in in the Web Client under Configurations
  • User administration can now be done in the “User Management” plug-in in the Web Client under Configurations. It is still available in DocuWare Administration
