Solution:
Removing unwanted characters from a file connection can be achieved using the Textindicator feature located in the DocuWare Administration Tool. Please refer to the following steps to remove unwanted characters in the file connection;
- Open the DocuWare Administration Tool, browse to Your Organization > General > File Connections, and open the file connection you wish to remove characters from.
- Navigate to the Settings section of the file connection and enter the symbol that you would like to remove in the Textindicator section. In this example, we will remove the * symbol from a CSV file
- Once the character has been added and the change has been confirmed, the CSV file should now be displayed without the unwanted character.
