How can I create a passphrase in DocuWare version 7.12 and above?

Answer:
Commencing in version 7.12, the passphrase option was moved from Organization Settings to Security. Please refer to the following guide to create a passphrase for your organization:

1. From the DocuWare home page, select the drop-down arrow in the top-right and select the Configurations page:


2. From the Configurations page, select the Security plugin: 


3. Select the Passphrase option:


4. Click Change passphrase, then enter your desired passphrase, and press OK:

Note: The passphrase must be between 12 and 16 characters long. However, the encryption passphrase must not contain any of the following characters: { } % ^ " ! % ` \ < > |



5. Click Save to save your changes. Your new passphrase will be active for your system:
