Scenario:
After upgrading your DocuWare Internal Database from V2 to V3, you are preparing to upgrade your DocuWare version. During the simulation step of the upgrade process, you encounter errors related to the internal database displayed in the below areas:

Via the log File:
- ERROR: Cannot find mysqladmin.exe on selected path:
- Simulation completed with error![InfoEnd]
- Status UpgradeError

Via DocuWare Server Setup:
The command "CHCP 65001 &"C:\Program Files(x86)\DocuWare\Setup Components\Upgrader\DocuWare.Upgrader.Console.exe"... Exited with code 1
 
 
 
 

Solution:
Skip the simulation step in this scenario. The actual DocuWare upgrade process will reference the correct files and paths associated with your upgraded internal database, as configured prior to beginning the upgrade.

    Vielen Dank für den KBA aber es ist mit Sicherheit viel besser das Setup anzupassen damit auch bei der Simulation die richtigen Pfade verwendet werden... Ist das in Planung. Den KBA habe ich nur durch Zufall gefunden. Vielen Dank Jan Kuschel
