Question:
Are cloud transfers encrypted?

Answer:
Yes, by product design, the Transfer tool communicates through the standard DocuWare Platform APIs. This means all data transferred inherits the same TLS 1.3+ encrypted channel.

DocuWare also utilizes further encryption methods and practices, such as:

Document-Level Encryption:
In addition to transport-layer security, documents are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before being stored in the cloud.

Cipher-Suites:
Cipher suites are regularly reviewed and updated to align with the best current security practices, and older or weaker suites are deprecated. DocuWare maintains end-to-end encryption for data both in transit and at rest across the platform.
