Is it possible to auto populate a table index with data from a data set. Ex. populate a GL code based on a PO number lookup to a clients accounting system or an invoice file cabinet.

I was unsure of the auto index config but I figured it out using the write back tab and the doc id as a match field. This thread can be closed.

Has anyone ever used auto index to export metadata to an external data source?
