Behavior:
The Connect to Outlook Add-In is disabled / not visible.

Solution:

  1. In Outlook click on File menu, and then click Options.
  2. Then select Add-Ins.
  3. Determine in the field Add-Ins the add-in CONNECT to Outlook. It should be listed under disabled add-ins.
  4. Select Manage from the point Disabled Items, and then click GoTo.
  5. In the following window, activate the Connect to Outlook Add-in.

​If Connect To Outlook is now listed under Inactive Application Add-ins, you have to perform the following steps.

  1. Select Manage from the point of COM Add-Ins, and then click GoTo.
  2. Select the check box before Connect to Outlook

​If the add-in cannot be loaded, check the ADX log files (see "ADX Registrator/Loader" path).
The next step would be to install the add-in or to register the add-in in a command prompt with the extended rights.
Using a command prompt with elevated prvileges, change the directory to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\DocuWare\Connect to Outlook
Then execute the following command:
adxregistrator.exe /install=DocuWare.CONNECTtoOutlook.dll /privileges=admin
