After installation the DocuWare Administration does not start. While starting the DocuWare administration following error occurs:
"An error occurred: invalid client configuration"

Solution:

  1. Check, whether there are the DocuWare.Administration.exe.config and DocuWare.Administration.exe.settings files in the AdminTool directory. If one of the files does not exist, copy the file either from a running system or from the attachment of this article into the AdminTool directory.
     
  2. Check in the DocuWare.Administration.exe.settings file, whether the server name (parameter server), port (parameter port) and the organization name (parameter organization) fit to your system. If necessary edit the content of these parameters.

    Restart the DocuWare services. After that, the DocuWare Administration should be able to start.
