Is it possible to install Fulltext on multiple servers as a failover?
Solution:
By product design, this would not be possible. File cabinets can only be configured with one Fulltext connection.
A workaround that can be implemented if Fulltext is down and users need to search indexes would be to use a normal search and place an asterisk(*) on each end of the word/phrase to perform a wildcard search for that specified word/phrase.
