Scenario:
When scanning documents in grayscale or color with a Canon DR-G Model scanner, there is a delay between each page that gets scanned in.
 
Solution:
This issue has occurred due to a problem with the drivers shipped with the Canon DR-G model of scanners. It is recommended to use the scanning software Canon ships with the product, then use an import job to move the documents into DocuWare. Since Canon's drivers are the root cause of this behavior, DocuWare Support would be unable to alleviate this behavior.
