The DocuWare system does not need to be fully open to the Internet.
The main requirement is that communication between the signature service and the DocuWare system and workflow be allowed.
The workflow needs to connect to the signature service to call the web service, and the signature service needs to be able to connect to their DocuWare system to retrieve and update documents via the Platform service.
You need to set up your firewall using the IP addresses listed here. We need to allow outgoing access to the IP addresses so that the workflow can call the signature web service.
