Scenario:
We would like to install the DocuWare Desktop Apps using the MSI files.
Answer:
By product design, commencing in DocuWare 7.6, it’s no longer possible to directly call the Client Setup MSIs to install, update, or uninstall the DocuWare Desktop Apps. The Client Setup needs to be started within the Windows user interface or via the Silent Installer .exe in CMD.
For more information regarding the DocuWare Silent Installer, please reference KBA-36543. This is often used in larger organizations by providing the Silent Installer command as a logon script in the domain to install the appropriate Desktop Apps.
